OPEN ROADS magazine is a nostalgic annual print publication celebrating the transformative power of the outdoors, shown through dazzling stand-alone photo essays and soulful reflective writing. The stories in our pages aim to encourage all of us to put down our distractions, to get outside, to listen to the stories of others with compassion and curiosity, and to normalize for all of us the physical and mental health benefits that come from time spent in the natural world.
OPEN ROADS magazine aims to promote a lifestyle through an ambitious distributed to our loyal subscribers, to youth organizations and schools, to outdoor industry leaders, and to the creative storytelling community around the country.

We believe the outdoors is for all, and we are committed to making our magazine free to schools and youth orgranization with the hope of inspiring the next generation of nature lovers. If you are a school or youth group, or would like to send a copy to your favorite organization, please fill out the form below.
